Let's blob right quick about like twenty good shows happening this week.

I'll leave some time at the end for you to blob about whatever you want to blob about.

20 Good Shows To See in NYC This Week

March 20 - March 26th / 2017 A.D.

1. Jens Lekman (solo) plays Rough Trade on Monday, March 20th.

Before you get too stoked...

Sold-out.

Sorry. I didn't do it. I just blob here.

(there are some ticket$ here tho).

Please note: this is best Jens Lekman jam.

Even if it's a direct "homage" of this jam.

2. Wilco play Beacon Theater on Tuesday, March 21st / Wednesday, March 22nd.

As a dad, I don't often rock. But when I do, it's always thanks to Wilco.

Both shows are sold-out but check here for expensive tickets if you really want to go, daddio.

3. At The Drive-In play Terminal 5 on Wednesday, March 22nd.

First NYC show in at LEAST 8 months!

Post-hardcore will never die but u will.

RIYL: Relationship of Command

4. Yo La Tengo play Town Hall on Thursday, March 23rd (tickets).

"Do you think we'll ever send a man to the moon?"

- the members of Yo La Tengo shooting the shit during their very first band practice

5. Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever play Baby's All Right on Thursday, March 23rd (tickets).

Listen to this new Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever jam. You'll love it. Sup Pod (sp?) Records already does.

And then go see them play it live, obviously.

(they also open two shows w/ Tennis at Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday / Wednesday)

6. Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith plays Knockdown Center on Friday, March 24th (tickets).

Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith is an experimental composer from Orcas Island and the music she makes is dope as hell.

Listen to this goodness and enjoy your trip to Mars, man.

7. Laura Stevenson headlines (le) poisson rouge on Friday, March 24th.

Laura Stevenson is good.

Field Mouse is good.

Soccer Mommy is good.

Laura Stevenson / Field Mouse / Soccer Mommy playing the same show together?

Priceless.

8. Alex Lahey plays Rough Trade on Friday, March 24th and Mercury Lounge on Saturday, March 25th (tickets).

Alex Lahey is a laid-back lo fi pop rocker from Melbourne, Australia (just 10,353 miles away in current traffic).

Think sticky hooks meets a totally chill who gives a f*** vibe meets solid gold slacker hit.

I'm OK. You're OK. Everything is chill.

9. Iron Chic play Union Pool on Friday, March 24th (tickets).

One of the best punk / hardcore punk bands playing the game today.

I'll be at this show. Come say hi. Don't mosh me tho, bro.

10. The Zombies play Town Hall on Saturday, March 25th (tickets).

The Zombies have been a band for 55 years. Is that a long time?

Please note: this song always reminds me of The Wonder Years.

And in that moment I realized he wouldn't always be my brother, Wayne.....he would simply be.....my brother......Wayne.

11. Foxygen at Terminal 5

12. Downtown Boys at Baby's All Right

13. Olga Bell at Lincoln Center

14. Allah-Las at Webster Hall

15. Buke and Gase at Union Pool

16. Glasser at (le) poisson rouge
