Animal Collective play Terminal 5 (the most popular upcoming show on the entire blob!). This band's influence knows no bounds. Just this summer, I saw Brian Wilson on his “Pet Sounds" tour and he was straight RIPPIN' from Animal Collective's early sound, it was shameless!

Legendary Scottish rockers Primal Scream play Warsaw and depending on when you are reading this you may or may not still be able to win a pair of tickets FROM THIS BLOB.

The Orwells play Baby's All Right. Do you like good garage rock? OMG get the front door outta here so do I!

That wasn't meant to be sarcastic! I honestly hope you're able to get into this show that's gonna be impossible to get into at this point! I just want u to be happy!

Greg Barris hosts his comedy night at Baby's All Right w/ a bunch of funny peeps (including Dave Hill who shreds the sickest riffs of any comic in the world, basically). But guess who's the special musical guest? I'll just tell you! It's Lauren Mayberry from CHVRCHES!

Sorority Noise + Jank + Ratboys play Shea Stadium. Goddamn. I like all three of those bands! (read this, this, and this).

Screaming Females play Villain (moved from Market Hotel). Very Fun Fact: the first show we ever listed on the blob for these super good NJ punks was at Trash Bar in February of 2006 A.D. Time, you be so crazy sometimes!

Crying (who just opened for Joyce Manor and The Hotelier) play Shea Stadium. Is this band any good? Yes. This band is any good. And then some. And how!

Dilly Dally opens for Grouplove at Hammerstein Ballroom. Why do these Toronto rockers rule so much? I don't know! Don't question it! Just let yourself be ruled be a good band every now and then! It's fun!

Jens Lekman plays his first NYC show in four years tonight at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Very sold out. But I can sing “Black Cab" for you outside the venue while you try to get in, if you want. I have a lovely singing voice.

AJJ play Warsaw (w/ Diners & Chris Farren). YKWTD.

Damien Jurado plays Bowery Ballroom. Here's my favorite song of his probably. It's a little old though. Hope that's OK!
