R E A L M A G I C
The name Real Magic is technically supposed to have spaces between each letter, but we're just not going to do that through this whole profile. Our space bar works hard and we couldn't ask it to do anything more than it's already done for us.
Anyway, Real Magic is THE SHIT. Imagine the vocals of Beirut (Zach Condon-esque, you might say) over the music of Pictureplane's skittish beat brilliance. Boom. Nailed it. Don't believe that band mash-up? You only don't believe because you're still reading this instead of listening to some of the best electro jams we've heard all year.
So who is this space happy band? Well, as far as I know, Real Magic is just one dude. That dude is Denver's Drew Englander. Live, he may have a band. I don't know. Haven't seen 'em yet. But after Real Magic tours through here, I'll know for sure. Because you can bet I'll be up near the front row ready for these BIG TIME JAMZ (unlike our Space Bar, our Caps Lock button could work harder... but it hasn't been itself since our SHIFT key died).
